MP govt to cover fees for engineering, medical, law education for students scoring above 75% in Class 12 board exams

By India Today Web Desk: The Madhya Pradesh government stated on Sunday that it will cover the costs of engineering, medical and law students who received more than 75% marks in their Class 12 board exams.

MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that he already awards laptops to students scoring above 75% in their board exams. Now, he declared during a speech that the state would cover the costs of attending law school, IIT, engineering school, and medical school.

Additionally, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh awarded scholarships for students who earned more than 70 points in Classes 10 and 12.

The CM also announced that the government of Madhya Pradesh has also agreed to build playgrounds in 110 villages.

The National Testing Agency, or NTA, has started the registration process for the January session of JEE Mains 2023 and declared that the performance requirements of Class 12 graduation to appear for JEE will be reinstated.

This indicates that in order to appear for the JEE Main 2023 exam, students need a minimum of 75% marks in their Class 12 board exams.

The information leaflet for JEE Mains 2023 states, “Entry into the BE, BTech, BArch, or BPlanning programmes. Subject to the requirement that the candidate must have obtained at least 75% marks in the Class 12 examination administered by the different Boards, courses in NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs taking part in the Central Seat Allocation Board would be based on All India Rank.”
